Endoscopic Brow Lift
Brow elevation to restore a lighter, more refreshed upper facial expression
Surgical Perspective
The position of the brow affects more than the forehead alone. It also influences the way the eyes and upper face are perceived.
When the brow descends, the upper face may appear heavier, more tired, or less open. In some patients, this change is obvious. In others, it appears more subtly as brow heaviness, fullness over the upper eyelids, or reduced brightness in the eye area.
For this reason, endoscopic brow lift is approached not as exaggerated elevation, but as a precise restoration of position. The aim is to create a lighter, more refreshed upper facial expression while preserving natural character.
Considerations
This procedure may be considered in patients with:
descent of the brow contributing to upper facial heaviness
brow asymmetry
fullness over the upper eyelids related to low brow position
a tired or crowded appearance of the upper eye area
early brow descent affecting upper facial balance
Approach
Each case is planned individually.
Assessment includes brow position, forehead shape, upper eyelid anatomy, skin quality, and the relationship between the brow and the upper eyelids. Depending on the findings, treatment may involve endoscopic brow elevation with adjustment based on facial structure and the desired degree of lift.
The goal is not simply to raise the brow, but to restore a more natural upper facial balance without creating an over-elevated or artificial appearance.
