Smoothing the Lid–Cheek Junction
Transcutaneous Lower Blepharoplasty with Fat Grafting
6 Weeks
ANALYSIS
Lower-eyelid fat prominence and skin laxity created a visible separation between the lower eyelid and upper cheek.
The goal was not simply to remove the eye bags, but to restore a smoother transition across the lid–cheek junction.
APPROACH
Transcutaneous Lower Blepharoplasty with Fat Grafting
A transcutaneous approach was used to address the lower-eyelid skin and contour, combined with fat grafting to soften the transition into the upper cheek.
“ In lower-eyelid surgery, removing fullness alone may leave a hollow or abrupt transition.
Here, volume was redistributed and restored to create continuity between the eyelid and cheek while preserving the natural lower-lid shape.”
RESULT
At 6 weeks, the lower-eyelid contour is smoother and the lid–cheek junction appears more continuous.
The lower-lid position remains natural, with an inconspicuous incision line despite the early stage of healing.
